Very friendly & professional greeting. I felt my concern on previous outcome for same service was not important & felt a distinct disconnect from the very youthful & glamorous consultants who rightfully, had not much of a clue on connecting with a mature audience. From the small beginnings on Rose St to the luxurious on Napier, congratulations to you.

I booked into Beauty on Rose to treat myself with what I thought was a foot scrub, massage, scalp massage and facial. I selected the Signature Rose Ritual. The foot scrub was awkward as you sat in a corner and the therapist had to squeeze between your knees and the massage bed. I didn't feel relaxed as I was so bunched up. The massage was lovely. I felt very relaxed and loved the aromatherapy oils. My therapist was very good and gave a firm massage which is my preference. When I turned over, I barely had the therapists hands in my hair for a scalp massage - she ran her fingers through twice. She also pressed on my jawline once. I believe the service I paid for was not what was advertised. I never had a scalp massage and the "touch facial" description is misleading if all they do is touch your face once. I left disappointed as I was wanting a facial too. I feel that I can have a massage without the awkward foot rub elsewhere for much less.

The person who did my tan was great! Very professional and friendly however she is not the person I booked the tan with online. What is the purpose of selecting a person for your appointment when booking if you don’t have the appointment with them anyway.

I had the deluxe rose manicure, while the staff and her work was lovely, I was very disappointed that the colour of SNS I chose was clogged/dried out, I was told to choose another colour, beauty on rose didn't have extra stock of available colours and there were no other golds to choose from. I now have a pink gold metallic colour on my nails that will not go with my dress as I had planned for a Wedding in two days. The colours to choose were dirty and old, and left an impression they had not be stocked for quite some time. The nail room is needing a modern update, the all black interior highlights everything that isn't clean and the crystals hanging in the centre of the room are a tangled mess. For the cost of a up market beauty place I did expect more for the stock, room and equipment. Not to mention the staff trying to find an ultra violet light that worked. The staff member was lovely, very professional and did a good job of my nails with the equipment and limited resources available to them.
