The new AI booking system feels very uninviting and impersonal. I also find it unreasonable to require a deposit when a customer is using a gift voucher. Surely the voucher number could simply be taken at the time of booking or payment, rather than taking a deposit and then advising that it can take 5–10 business days to have it returned. In my case, the total service was $80 and I had a $50 gift voucher. Instead of simply refunding me the $10 difference, the entire $40 deposit was refunded and I was then charged $30 to make up the balance. This is unnecessarily complicated and, quite frankly, completely unreasonable. I’m sorry, but I really think the owner needs to reconsider how this system is being managed. It takes away from what should be a simple, personal and enjoyable customer experience. I feel sorry for the staff that probably get barraged of complaints about this!!
