Too expensive for service received and compared to other salons.

At Urban Chic we do offer a tiered pricing system to hopefully accommodate everyones budget, so depending on the stylist and their experience depends on the overall service bill. You were looked after by Jess one of my very senior stylists with many years of experience under her belt. We also use only the very best products in salon to give us the very best results we can achieve. All of this comes at a higher price. I also keep all of my staff updated with all the latest trends and techniques with on going salon education, I feel that as we offer our clients that little bit extra, I can reflect this with the pricing in the salon. We would however love to look after you again in the future and if we structure your appointment differently maybe this would be more appropriate for you. lovely salon and lovely staff. However I felt it was incredibly over priced for the services i had done. $210 re growth touch up and gloss with a blow dry seems quite extreme to me. In saying that the girls did a great job and I am very happy with the result, I just was not expecting that price and don't normally pay anywhere near that amount at my regular salon in Sydney.

The haircut itself was good, I just felt like the hairdresser wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. I also know it might be assumed knowledge that the conditioning treatment costs extra, but it would be nice for salons to mention it.

Quite disappointed with my wash & style. Process was slow and style was very average. I expected a more professional finish. It did not hold at all and as such the price $91 was very shocking.

My stylist lacked confidence in suggesting a cut - even left my chair to ask someone else how they would cut my hair. Then, left it up to me. I was more than happy to try her thoughts on how it could look, and made that known to her.

Firstly thank you for your review, I always appreciate any feed back we receive, my apologies you felt your stylist lacked confidence, she is newly qualified and still finding her feet in some areas of cutting, so when she has a style she isn't overly confident with I encourage her to seek advice from my other stylists for guidance, has this left you unhappy with your result or just your experience ?
