This is the second time I have been to pure indulgence springfield and not been that happy with my experience. The lady that did my brows asked me what I wanted and I told her just tidied up and I'd like the width of them to be kept roughly the same. She then drew guide lines on my face which I have never had done before and I've been getting my eyes brows waxed for at least 6 years now. That didn't bother me too much but she kept asking me what did I think and what do I want when I felt I'd explained to her what I wanted. I come to a professional in the hope they will know what will look best and be able to wax accordingly but I felt I had to keep telling her what hairs to pluck. In the end I just wanted to get out of there but wasn't that happy with the final result.

Hi, had a nice facial today and the lady was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was disappointed though that I could smell cigarette smell throughout my appointment and I felt that there was a little too much emphasis on selling the products. This took away from the overall experience that I have had previously with my facials.

I attended the salon as I had been given a gift voucher. Before I even got into the room the therapist had already tried to upsell my voucher - suggesting that I spend more to get a better treatment. The therapist did a beautiful job but the whole time I was dreading coming back out, as I knew the add on selling would happen again. I understand this is a requirement of the salon - as it is a business and their main objective is to make money. But after a lovely relaxing experience it is horrible to be made to feel bad because you refuse to purchase their products. I know the products are very good and the actual massage and facial I got were lovely, but I will not return as pushy upselling is a massive turn off.

It was an unsettling experience. The clinician spoke to me about some rather disturbing things another client had told her, about mental health patients killing their children, somewhat graphic. I was really quite distressed by that. When I got home, I realized that she had done a rather poor job of half leg and Brazilian. Quite a bit of long fine hair left on both legs and other areas, that weren't ingrown. I have changed my next appointment to another clinician.
