I felt like I was rushed through so my hairdresser could get to the next client. Wasn't asked how short I wanted and before I knew it, we were done with little difference to my hair from when I walked in. Probably won't return

All the stylists are amazing! always walk out with perfect colour... however...the apprentice who has finished off my hair the past 3 times has been well below the standard I would expect for the price I pay! This time I requested to not have her do my hair today but due to a shortage of staff this was not possible. I decided to be open minded and that maybe she had improved but to my disappointment she still seemed unsure of what to do or how to do it which made me feel very uncomfortable and extremely nervous considering I had a head full of bleach. After an hour of washing, toning and drying (twice due to it not being done right the first time) I ended up walking out with dripping hair, not even checking the colour, and still being charged $223 (full head of bleached foils only - no cut). In total it took 4.25 hours and it still wasn't completed. I really love my hairdresser and the colour turned out great as usual but after the whole experience Im not sure it's worth it.

THey were lovely but truely the haircut is one of the worst I’ve ever had and just not what I had asked for. The worst thing is they cut it so short that there is no rescuing it

I was really upset by the way the cut turned out. It was quite different to what I asked for, the fringe area in particular . I even took pictures in, to use as a reference for the stylist to work from. The fringe was cut short and blunt when I wanted it soft long and shaggy. The layers and the length were very uneven, I had to try to fix them up when I got home (I have a small amount of hairdressing experience). I normally get a (hairdresser) friend of mine to cut my hair, but he wasn't available, so I thought I would go to a salon I didn't know, for the first time in over 15 years. So upsetting, it's going to take two or three months for the fringe to start to look good again. This experience has turned me off. However I must say the staff were all friendly and the shampoo was done well.

I unfortunately had a not pleasant experience on Saturday. I showed two photos of how I wanted my hair to be styled and I knew throughout the appointment that the hairdresser was not listening to what I wanted. I walked out with a style that looked nothing like the photo. I was not happy with at all and when i got home I re did it myself. I was very upset and really struggled paying for something I knew I was going to re do when I got home. A waste of $65!! On a side note I also was not offered a drink when I sat down. My appointment was towards the end of the day however that is no excuse to be treated like the hairdresser just want to get out of there and go out for drinks or something. Up until now I have had great experiences at Miss Gertrude (when i saw Jess) but I honestly am now rethinking if I will come back.
