Corey is an excellent colourist, best I've had. I didn't really ask for any advice so can't comment on that. The biggest reason that would have me not return, or not recommend it to others, is the price.

Miss Gertrude is as usual a treat to go to but I think I will keep it as a treat, considering the prices. Love you girls to bits but my bank always takes quite a hit when I visit.

The foils I received from Jens were amazing. However the hair wash and blow dry I received from a young girl with long pinkish hair was hopeless. My hair was still wet underneath when I was walking back to my car, and she did not smoothly blowdry my hair nor offer to run the irons over it. Her technique needs much improvement as it hurt and looked weird and wavy afterwards as it had not been done properly, and was lank on the top and boofy at the bottom. She mainly tried to blast it off rather than use clips and blowdry it in layers. I would still come to Miss Gertrude but I would make sure I did not get that woman to blowdry my hair. I only come to the hairdressers about once every 3 months as I live over an hour away and use it is a bit of a treat for myself so to have to leave and feel horrible afterwards and wanting to wash my hair again was very disappointing and made me quite angry, especially paying the money I do and travelling over 2 hours to get it done.

I was very disappointed about the service. Elle was working on me and another client at the same time. An apprentice unnecessarily blow dried my hair for half an hour to kill time while we were waiting for Elle. The service felt disjointed with a lot of waiting and less time spent on providing a quality service that is usually provided.

I find the prices are way too high and overprized. I paid $354 for a haircut and foil 1/2 head and treatment - i have neither long nor grey hair. I dont think i could recommend those prices to friends and family and I am unsure if I am able to come back much... I am coming to miss gertrude since its opening days.

I had to wait 20 minutes after my appointment time - no idea why I have to be on time but tend to wait a long time before the service starts. There was no explanation and no apology for this. This is not the first time that it has happened.
