There is no need for the client to be given the invoice/bill at the beginning and then updated as you discuss different options. This is very rude. If you are paying for a principal stylist, you expect them to be styling your hair, not only doing the cut (although I much preferred the senior stylist, i still think this is wrong). There is no warmth in your salon, nor customer service. Normally I like to buy new product and try the saloons recommendations, but I was so put off from the way I was treated and the obvious selling pitch that I did not want to leave any more money with the salon. Very disappointing experience after I have heard such good things about your store.

Firstly may we apologise for the experience you had with us. In regard to our quoting procedure, we direct our stylists to quote during the consultation so as a guest you are aware of the price and not surprised at the end of your experience by the amount due on your account. Quoting prior to commencing a service is a very common procedure in service industries for this reason. At Heading Out we are so passionate about home care because we want to assist you with maintaining and recreating your style at home, which is why your stylist would have taken the time to go over the features and benefits of the products with you. Was in Melbourne on a really hot day (44C) and went into the North Balwyn salon to get an appointment. I was really cheeky and said "How about today?" Anyway I was able to get a cut in 20 minutes, (thank goodness people had cancelled) ... that is amazing service! My hair was looking awful as I'd had it cut somewhere else, poor Ronaldo had to fix the mess. I came out one hour or so later and my hair looked amazing. So many people have since commented on the great hair style. Thank you so much, Ronaldo! Makes me feel so much better. Now I'll have to always get my hair cut in Melbourne!

I have absolute faith in the service I receive at this salon, and specifically can recommend Rinaldo to provide and excellent cut/style/blow wave... I can get cheaper elsewhere yes but not with the same assurance that I will like the finished look. Excellent advice on hair care too and always delivered with sensitivity and professionalism and with a cup of tea coffee or even champagne! Highly recommended
