So pleased with the new hair do!! Your stylist, Laurie, did a fantastic work on the cut. Her cutting techniques are good and her recommendation on hair colour is fantastic. The beauty environment was a little cramped and in need of a freshen up.I was not happy with the spa pedicure - sitting on a tiny uncomfortable stool to have my feet soaked in what was essentially a basin. The spa manicure was also underwhelming - nails were shaped to my liking, cuticles were trimmed well, but the nail polish was no where near sufficiently dry and smudged badly with just the slightest touch for quite some time after. Facial was excellent and very relaxing. After treatment service was good. HBS has a generous referral programme. The beauty therapist was a very pleasant young lady who did a thorough job.

Hi, I’m not the one who leaves a negative review for a salon and I don’t intend this to be published either. My whole intention is for this feedback to be passed on to the Salon Management who I know try their best to make HBS, HBS. I came in for my appointment with Hailey which was scheduled a few months ago but she was sick and not in the salon unfortunately. I wasn’t informed of this and my appointment was confirmed the Tuesday before. Thankfully Taylor tried to help and fit me in with Ebony who apparently is new to the salon and miles away from the HBS way of working unfortunately. I was rushed into my service, the pre treatment dripping on my forehead, the color dripping everywhere through the application. The wash okay and the dry off with a very hot hair dryer. I felt like crying after this service and it’s very unfortunate that I love HBS as a salon and am very reluctant to go to another one coz I know the effort it’s core team takes for it’s clients. I am writing this review so that some care is taken to inform clients if their usual person is away. Also when Hailey leaves the salon I need get my hair done by someone who is as good or maybe even better than Hayley pls.Also I have no offence to the new person who did my service as they are new and still learning perhaps,it’s just that I’m v v uncomfortable with a service that’s rushed. Hope someone will listen and act. Thank you.

It’s been my second visit to the salon after being recommended by a friend. The first visit my hair was grey at the front —and took 2wks washing it everyday for it to look normal again. So the second visit last weekend I tried to be more specific around my colour. I wanted my ends to match the roots and I ended up leaving with my ends darker than when I came in. My hair is darker than what I wanted. I’m disappointed and it’s not that I’m being to picky or fussy (I don’t think), but when your pay a substantial amount of money you expect to get exactly what you ask for.

Hey! Just wanting to let you know that whilst getting my eyebrows done, the beautician took off a bit of skin - I think with the wax - and the skin around my eyebrows is really sore, red and will probably scab. I love coming to HBS and have been coming there a long a long time, usually this doesn’t happen… just don’t want this to happen to anyone else
