As a newcomer to Hobart, I was thrilled to find the right hairdresser at my first attempt. Wayne took the time to understand my expectations and to explain what might best suit my face, profession etc and then gave me a style that works well. A great result - I'll be back (apologies to Arnie). mp

My first visit great success and I will certainly be back. Good feel to the place and all salon staff friendly. Was a little surprised that straightening my hair after blow drying was an added cost as that hasn't happened at any other salon that I have visited.

I always look forward to my visits at Sufmato because I know that I'm in good hands. The staff make a great effort to ensure satisfaction by making sure they know just what I want. Everyone is really friendly, and their coffee is great too!

Aside from the fact that I spent a lot of time waiting. The 2nd year apprentice did half of the work, not the person I booked in with. And throughout my appointment I was asked if I wanted things such as a treatment to help my color last, but at no point was I told, even after I said yes that this cost extra money. It was only when I was asked again by the apprentice if I wanted the treatment, when I asked her if it cost money and ahe said yes. Then it made me wonder if everything they had offered me cost me money?? The price I paid at the end I would not go back. Disappointed.

As a bloke who doesn't like getting his hair cut, I can't praise Sfumato more highly. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, but also skilful. I have had the best haircuts of my life here. It's nice to go to a place where there is a really broad age range of clients, all happy, and it's really obvious the staff love working there.
