Appointment was confirmed, then a day later I was contacted and advised that I had to change my appointment, which I did but was very inconvenient as I had other engagements arranged. I arrived 10 minutes early to give time to complete the paperwork required as this was my first time at this particular salon. Shop was not open and had to wait till it opened. As there was not much time left in my session my little beautician kindly cut short my completion of paperwork so she could spend the time on my face. Whilst the young beautician was very polite, friendly , no questions were asked of any problems I had with my skin, if it was sensitive, pigmentation problems and no advice was offered on what products she was putting on my skin and what they did. She did , however, give me a card to take with me where she had written what products had been used. My beautician gave a good facial, however, a lot of time spent on my decolage, rather than my face. I've had many facials over the years. There was no "steamer" used to open up the pores which I have always liked. Whilst saying all of that, it suited me, I prefer not to have to converse, or listen to the "sell" of products and it was quiet and restfull and the music was peaceful.

I have previously had eyebrow waxing done before at the salon and I have been very happy. The last time I visited, just before Christmas, I felt like the therapist couldn't get me out of the salon fast enough. It was very disappointing.

I had a facial and massage treatment and have been better for the same treatment. As a trained beauty therapist (have worked for Ella Bache in the past) I can say my therapist was lovely, although she did need to keep leaving the room. I feel the rooms were a bit dated and there were no small extra touches, the continuous hot towels are a bit too much to remove product, it felt sloppy. The room was quite cold, the heated bed was nice although a blanket offer would be nice. Tissues over the eyes feel a bit cheap, a nice warm heat pack and a few more easy but luxe upgrades could be nice additions. The product upgrades and sales are feeling a little forced these days also. A short consultation in the beginning would be nice rather than stopping mid treatment to ask for upgrades.

I was given a gift voucher for Ella Bache (Capalaba) and used it for a facial 3 days before my wedding. I was advised to have a chemical peel as part of my treatment, I declined the facial I had was somewhat enjoyable - the therapist had multiple rings on her hands during my treatment I found it a bit unpleasant. I also left the appointment was a rather large amount of product/face mask stuck in my hair/eyebrows - I understand the room is dark during my appointment but the reception area is well lit and none of your staff informed me of the white thick past-like material on my face. I found this out when I got home after completing my shopping - I was not impressed. I will have a hard time recommending you salon to friends and family.
