I did a fair bit of research before going to this salon. I also took a bit of time in selecting a senior stylist that I thought would best suit me. I made a booking with my selected stylist which was also confirmed via text and messenger. On the day I arrived at my appointment and after waiting about 5-10mins was told my stylist was running very far behind and another stylist would do my hair. Where I felt let down especially as a new client is no one called me to let me know of this delay (as it appeared my stylist was running over 45 - 60 mins behind) and give me the option to have another stylist or reschedule. I also felt the stylist I had selected could have personally come over to me to let me know of this herself. In fact I would have appreciated this. It would have cost them nothing to communicate this to me as soon as she knew of the delay. In saying this the stylist who ended up doing my hair was lovely and quite knowledgeable in what I wanted, and was happy with my style cut. It was a bit of a let down as I was needing a new hairdresser to go to and first impressions mean a lot as far as new business goes.
