I have loved coming here for many years now but lately have found it to be really expensive. My cut and colour the other day was $320! And whilst this included the olaplex, I didn’t get a blow dry.

This is my 3rd or 4th visit and whilst I have full confidence in your skills and professionalism I feel that most of the staff look a bit busy and stressed and not overly friendly environment. Also my hair service takes longer than anywhere I've ever been. This all makes me feel a bit agitated by the end of the visit.

Colour and toner choice were fine, tomer could’ve been left for longer. However, I felt like Lucy was rushing the whole time. She cut my hair wet which made it very uneven when blowed out. Some trimming was done to fix this post blow dry, but honestly the cut was very disappointing. I will be getting it fixed elsewhere.

At Urban Chic we do offer a tiered pricing system to hopefully accommodate everyones budget, so depending on the stylist and their experience depends on the overall service bill. You were looked after by Jess one of my very senior stylists with many years of experience under her belt. We also use only the very best products in salon to give us the very best results we can achieve. All of this comes at a higher price. I also keep all of my staff updated with all the latest trends and techniques with on going salon education, I feel that as we offer our clients that little bit extra, I can reflect this with the pricing in the salon. We would however love to look after you again in the future and if we structure your appointment differently maybe this would be more appropriate for you. The salon was busy today, but the noise level was extreme, not relaxing. The constant changing of staff, the level of experience of the people washing hair (water splashing from one basin to next chair), water running down my neck, splashing into eyes, as soon as one massage chair is turned in, every chair vibrates….. none of that is relaxing. Pleased with my colour, Thankyou Maddy, but heard she’s leaving. I had foils this time, but even so was shocked by the $418 cost.
