A visit to The Cutters chair is a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Having your hair washed and a scalp massage is so good and the haircut is just how you wanted it to be. All the staff are friendly and take the time to find out what you want and during the cut they explain how your hair will sit and what need to be done at home to keep it looking as good as when you leave.

I always feel confident that my hair is in good hands when I visit the salon. The staff are always friendly and attentive and I am appreciative of the experience shown in both colouring and cutting my hair as my needs have changed with age. The music nowadays, when there is music, is less obtrusive than in the past; that is, not as loud, not as thumping. I don't mind when there is no music. Some pots of colour, hanging baskets and a deciduous tree would transform the little area outside. The salon has gone from strength to strength and it's good to see some young men on the staff.

I am a mature woman who has had a lot of haircuts by this stage and I have found that a good one is hard to come by. I didn't want my cut to look like every other 'in' style on the street. Adam at Cutters Chair listened, took in the elements of various styles I liked and gave me a precise cut with artful detail. I am now a regular customer and find the salon clean efficient and relaxed, without being pretentious.
