I have been to this spa many times and always loved it however my most recent visit was disappointing as I was subjected to two suggestive selling techniques - both before and after my treatment - which were very off putting. The first was literally as I lay on the table awaiting my massage and was asked if I wanted to add on a hair mask or eye treatment for additional charge. The second was the attempt to sell some fisio cream as I tried to relax with a cup of tea post treatment. I had not inquired about wanting either of these things and I felt on edge. One does not appreciate an upsell at an otherwise tranquil and lovely spa.

Meh. Received a gift voucher therefore, felt obligated to book a service. Venue was nice service was good. Had a 45 minute facial which was nice but routine. Nothing out of the ordinary for any day spa. Prices high, limiting clientele to a specific demographic. As with all spa services, promoting products with outrageous prices and interesting scientific claims. Not exceptional enough to encourage a return visit.

Really enjoyed my facial and massage, very relaxing. The day spa is set in amazing beautiful tranquil environment. My only disappointed with my visit was that I wasn't recommended any products. Also my therapist disappeared for the treatment room mid way through my massage, it would have been better if my therapist had just whispered in my ear, sorry I have to quickly step out for a moment. Rather than just disappearing.

The room was cold, plus after being wipped with a hot towel I was freezing! They needed a heated towel on the beds - makes such a big difference.

The relaxation massage was relaxing. The room however was quite cold and my request to warm it was only partially responded to. It was also a very small room for my friend and I plus two masseurs, so it felt crowded. Communication about the strength of the massage was not very effective, but I didn’t want to comment repeatedly. The experience wasn’t as comfortable as it’s been previously but overall I do appreciate the massages at Saltair.
