I had Caitlin for my Skin bright facial and she was amazing! The treatment left my skin feeling 10 x better. What I also really loved about Caitlin is she wasn't shoving products down my throat. I had vowed to never go back to pure indulgence because of being told that my skin was horrible and needed $500 worth of products years ago. The only reason I came back was I was given a voucher for Christmas. I had gone in ready for the onslaught of trying to shove products down my throat and whether Caitlin picked up on my feelings towards it she only showed me one product and I never felt like she was saying my skin was so terrible that I had to buy it. I understand that they would all have goals to meet in up selling but sometimes it is done so bloody terrible that you leave feeling so crap about yourself and as a business woman myself that's not how I ever want my customers to feel or I never want my daughters to feel so deflated like that. I know that I have still only put it in the middle for the referral to family and friends as I still feel a bit of a grudge on the last time. However because of Caitlin this has been able to come back to the middle where as before and basing it on the last experience before this one I would have put it on a one and never recommended Pure Indulgence because of that very reason.

I tried Pure Indulgence after a recommendation from a work-mate. I rang to make an initial enquiry and the person on the phone was helpful and friendly. I made an appointment and on my first visit was greeted warmly by Paris. Not only is she charming and friendly, but no one has ever spent the time to listen and put so much effort to get the best results possible. I thought it was just a fluke but on my next visit she was exactly the same professional, with attention to detail, delightful and attentive. Paris is a credit to your organisation and reflects the pure joy and satisfaction she has in her chosen career.

Because of a health condition they would not massage me, and didn’t provide much detail as to why other than “policy” and “lymphatic drainage”. Lymphatic drainage is actually a recommended treatment to ease pain and discomfort from the treatment I am undergoing, but somehow was the only reason they could provide for refusing to provide a relaxation massage someone who happens to have cancer. When I initially asked if the $200 gift card my family member bought for me as a gift could be refunded I was told no, and that if I just went to a doctor and got them to write a letter saying I am allowed to be massaged, then they would do it. Otherwise they could offer waxing (ripping hairs out of my skin is arguably more ‘risky’ and also no thank you). Being that I was very upset and definitely don’t feel safe and respected by pure indulgence as a whole (not the staff individually, but the business that assumes adult people don’t know what’s best for their own health), the manager called head office who approved a refund, but only to the person who bought the gift card initially which is fine. Let me just be clear - I also take a medication that has negative interactions with grapefruit, but guess what, I don’t need to provide a doctors note to the checkout kid at woolies to buy grapefruit, I just don’t buy it because I’m not an idiot. This was an extremely upsetting experience for me. I will not be back.
