I had a winter hot stone facial and it was so lovely and relaxing. My skin feels amazing and the therapist was fantastic. She also gave me some good skin advice tailored to my needs.

I know that the salon has made changes to have therapists "specialise" in different services. I am a long term client and I personally don't like the new model. I enjoyed building confidence and trust in the therapist I enjoyed working with. I didn't have to re explain eyebrow shape every time and I don't like having a different person each time I visit. My usual therapist was moved to facials and other services and whilst I have have facials all the time, I want the right to choose the therapist I want to do the services I want. For casual visits I understand but for long term regular clients I believe that we should be able to have the same person and the therapist of choice.

My beauty consultant was very good however there was some communication breakdown with the services I had asked for. This ended up costing me more than expected. I feel the products are very expensive although I appreciate that they are of excellent quality. I also feel that, as with many beauty salons I have been to, the push to sell products and services continues until I leave the salon. This really puts me off a return visit. I go to feel relaxed but can't help but feel tense about the up sell all the time.
