Overall my first ever facial was relaxing. It would have been nice if the therapist had said something positive about my skin instead of just mentioning the small details that needed some attention!. It would also have been a better experience if she had checked exactly what treatment my voucher entitled me to before launching into an explanation about a treatment that wasn't included and would have cost an extra $40 should I had chosen to have. Massage was excellent but wish it hadn't included my hair which I had just washed etc as I was meeting a friend for lunch! Perhaps I will have another facial one day

I wnjoy a firm to medium massage but in future will ask for medium to soft. Although the preassure felt fine while there. The day after my back feels bruises and achey under my shoulder blades. Made for a very uncomfortable sleep. And I would ask for the back exfoliation to happen prior to the massage next time as they did it last and scrubed quiet vigiourously it shook me around alot after a nice massage i didnt end on a relaxing note.

I felt that the lady who did my facial could not put 100% into the service I received. Being 6 months pregnant I felt that she was struggling doing my back massage and bending with other parts of the facial.

I have been using pure indulgence for many years and have always been extremely happy with the service. I am presuming today was a down day. The person who i spoke to on the phone when making my appointment stumbled over her words repeatedly and did not sound like she knew what she was doing. The therapist that I saw for a brow and lip wax was lovely and seemed to know what she was doing, however, she dropped hard wax in my hair and spent about 10 minutes putting oil in it trying to get it out. When she put brow powder on my eyebrows at the end, she extended the ends so far that I looked a little like a drag queen. All of this I can handle as I have NEVER had any of these issues in the past and will continue to go to Pure Indulgence, however, I will not see this particular therapist again, purely because her breath was atrocious. I found myself feeling ill while she was completing the waxing and I felt terrible for her as she obviously had no idea. I was too embarrassed to tell her but I would have thought that her colleagues would have done this.
