I have loved visiting Pure Induglence in the past.. The ambiance is wonderful and staff are well trained. But their 'upselling' is becoming a firm put off. Today I booked an 'eye trio' and decided for a $65 express facial as well... .. On booking I was told a 'more complete' service would be $85... Ok so I booked for that. On arrival I explained I had no skin concerns and was going to a wedding so just wanted to enjoy some time out. Well 'if I wanted to glow' there was a more amazing facial at $110... And of course an extra add on at $40 would really make me pop! Seriously from $65 to $150... I just wanted to enjoy some time out. The young girl that served me was very confused I had no skin concerns... She queried me strongly ... 'Your not worried about your dry skin.. Or pigmentation.. '. Hmmmm thanks for trying to make me feel bad to buy more service but I had been feeling pretty good before I got there. I really don't think I'll go back after today.. I feel like I've run a gauntlet when I just wanted to enjoy a nice hour to myself.

I feel as though I didn't receive the full package. I purchased a multi masque facial. It was suppose to Coke with a pressure point massage and a neck and shoulder massage. The therapist didn't give me a pressure point massage to the extent my last therapist did and the back and shoulder massage didn't last as long. The treatment was meant to for for 70 mins but I was finished an hour after I walked into the salon (not 70 minutes with my theripst). It felt like she only used one mask on me, she didn't bring it onto my chest. My last service with the same facial was exceptional, compared to this one which was below par.

Did not listen/ask what I wanted, hard sell, incomplete service as advertised very disappointing I have never had problems at this salon before.

The whole body relaxation massage was ok, not amazing experience . Little communication throughout. I mentioned that my left foot wasn’t massaged; but Maddie insisted she had. Rather disappointing. My left foot did not receive similar treatment as my right. What else can I say or do??? Was I supposed to get advice? She didn’t appear to be a very experienced Masseur. Previously I had very good facials.

I'm extremely unimpressed with our visit today. My daughter has fair skin and strawberry blonde hair. When she last had her eyebrows tinted they used the 'honey brown' tint. This was a perfect match for my daughter's hair and skin. My daughter requested this colour again. The beautician (Stacey) took it upon herself to decide that it didn't give enough definition to the eyebrows and decided to add brown to the tint. My daughter now has brown eyebrows and is incredibly upset and doesn't want to go to school. I asked that Stacey fix the colour, however, whatever she did made little to no difference and we were told that "they would get better after a shower". It is really not good enough when the colour 'honey brown' was requested for a reason. I understand that the beauticians are supposed to give advice but when a specific colour is requested, it would be good to listen.

I’m unsure what was happening for my massage therapist Katie , but it didn’t seem she was very invested. The environment felt tense and uncomfortable. There was a lot of rubbing and not much massaging. She seemed lost, or unsure. When she did massage my neck she pulled so hard I received a bruise that now looks quite horrid and suspicious.precious experiences have been great, and . I have a gift vouch for further massages which is unfortunate. Obviously I’m not going to say anything to her throughout the experience to make it uncomfortable for the both of us. At the end she seemed more interested in selling me some creams, which I’m sure is standards. She seemed very anxious and uncertain.
