I recently had a facial at Pure Indulgence Chermside using a birthday gift voucher. While the treatment itself felt nice, I left feeling disappointed. I had booked the Yuva facial but was given a different one without being asked, and the therapist didn’t explain the steps or products being used. When I mentioned I had no skin concerns and just wanted a relaxing facial, she seemed annoyed, which made the experience feel uncomfortable. One product caused a strong stinging sensation with no prior warning, lastly the music during the treatment was uncomfortably loud.

I had a red light facial with Stacey at the salon and she was an exceptional staff member. I also booked future appointments as part of a package and found the staff on the front desk very helpful. I highly recommend this salon.

I had a luxe spa facial. I had an assessment of my skin done first and was told I was dehydrated twice, all felt very negative and was not a nice start. I had also called the day prior to advise I was third trimester pregnant and that it would be okay. I was assured it would be. However, once I got to the room I was told the bed couldn't be raised at the back, I couldn't get any extra pillows for my huge 33 week belly, and I couldn't lay on my side. I was then moved to another room where the back of the bed had a slight incline, but it was still very uncomfortable. I really felt like I had to put up with it and that I was a burden. I had also told the lady no massage on my shoulders and neck as I recently had vaccinations done, which were tender and sore. This was ignored and it was quite painful. By the time the facial started it was 1:58pm and then it concluded at 2:42pm, despite it being a 1hr 10minute treatment. I also wasn't told at any point during the facial what was happening, or if I was comfortable. Not a good experience.

Mikayla is always friendly and so helpful. Today I was asking her about micro needling and she was so informative and now I might consider trying this treatment. She always listens and I appreciate her advice.

Yet another amazing hour of pampering by Stacey at Chermside … hard to imagine but think massage was even more enjoyable than usual 😲 My favorite time of the month ! Thanks heaps 😀
