I have visited Portabello on a few occasions and do enjoy going there. The staff are always friendly and very obliging. On my last visit though I went in for a colour and blow dry, my hairdresser had suggested that she was going to put a treatment in my hair before blow drying it, which I agreed to thinking it was standard practice, not realising that I was going to be charged for it until I was at the counter paying. This won't stop me from going there, I've always left with a great cut, style and colour. I guess I could of asked if it would cost me anything - but in turn it would of been nice to have her say "I have this product that your hair will benefit from this treatment, it'll be a small added cost but would like me to do it??"
