I was very pleased with the overall experience but not the price. Unfortunately, I can not afford about $300 every time I get my hair done. I have therefore decided to go back to my previous salon. I wanted a change and was very pleased with Danika. I had booked an appointment on Wednesday 13 th December at 9 15am which I would like to cancel and also on Saturday 23rd at 8 45 am that I also would lik eto cancel. For a special occasion I would certainly return but at this point in time I am unable to afford your prices. Sincere thanks to Portobello and especially Danika

I feel I have finally found a salon I will be happy to continue going to for years to come. Richard understands my hair and makes an effort to understand what I like regarding the style. I have confidence in Richard but would be happy to let another stylist cut my hair if he is unavailable. I am also happy with the colour.

I have visited Portabello on a few occasions and do enjoy going there. The staff are always friendly and very obliging. On my last visit though I went in for a colour and blow dry, my hairdresser had suggested that she was going to put a treatment in my hair before blow drying it, which I agreed to thinking it was standard practice, not realising that I was going to be charged for it until I was at the counter paying. This won't stop me from going there, I've always left with a great cut, style and colour. I guess I could of asked if it would cost me anything - but in turn it would of been nice to have her say "I have this product that your hair will benefit from this treatment, it'll be a small added cost but would like me to do it??" Hope this feedback helps Many Thanks

I should not rate "the value of money" as I had a gift voucher from the Goodlife Gym. However, overall it was a relaxing experience to get my hair done at your place as my hairdresser is normally very busy.

I am really happy with my experience at portabello especially with Daniel as he does a fabulous job. There is always a lot of chatter about all sorts of subjects that make the visit fun and when they get their liquor licence again that will be another great addition to a relaxing experience when you wait for a few hours to get a colour etc. Love it!

My last visit was very disappointing. Was kept waiting in the chair for nearly an hour before Kieran got started on me. Had I been told when I arrived that he was running behind schedule I would happily have come back later. As it was this disrupted my day somewhat. Also found that without Richard in the salon the music was way too loud.
