I needed a lot of damaged hair cut off, and as I'm not very good with hair I need a lot of advise on what styles look good on me. Carmen took one look at my hair and knew exactly what needed to be done and guided me through every step of the way. She is a fantastic hair dresser and I would reccomend her to anyone. Especially if you are thinking of going short.

I always feel very welcome when I visit Miss Gertrude. I wanted a treatment for my naturally dry hair and a wash and blowdry/style for a wedding I was going to that afternoon. I met Milo for the first time and she was very warm and understanding of what I wanted done with my hair. I came away with exactly what I wanted - she even thought about what time the event was and advised that she do my curls a little tighter so that they were still in place as the wedding wasn't until later in the afternoon. My hair has always come away looking better, healthier and smelling sensational after a visit to Miss Gertrude. I live in Sydney but try and make an appointment to visit the salon every time I come to Melbourne because I feel like it's a great reliable salon away from home. Front of House staff member was also very nice.
