I was very disappointed about the service. Elle was working on me and another client at the same time. An apprentice unnecessarily blow dried my hair for half an hour to kill time while we were waiting for Elle. The service felt disjointed with a lot of waiting and less time spent on providing a quality service that is usually provided.

The stylist said "I'm going to give you a hair treatment now" and I said "ok". I did not realise that it would cost me money. You should have made that clear, because I felt like I had been deceived.

I'm new to Melbourne and stumbled across Miss Gertrude in a random Google search. I'm so glad I did, it's a fantastic salon! I felt really welcome as soon as I arrived, and I got an excellent cut by Kylie who took the time to do something that would suit my hair and face. It's the best cut I have had for a really long time. They use and sell beautiful products, and I live the collection of gorgeous ceramics and plants for sale too. I'll be back!
