Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the beautiful Kate from Miss Gertrude. Having had the same hairdresser for 6 years I was very hesitant to try anywhere new. Although I definately wanted a change of atmosphere and something fresh, and I definately found it. I felt absolutely spoilt from the moment I walked in. Kate was very intuitive with what I wanted and I recieved exactly what I wanted with my hair. She took so much care and pride in eveything she did to ensure I was satisfied. The whole Miss Gertrude experience is just amazing. I am so happy I have found this little Gem and more importantly KATE!!

My hairdresser Leanne is brilliant. She is an amazing hairdresser, she listens to you, she doesn't rabbit on incessantly like some hairdressers do and she always recommends the best products for my hair. Every time I get my hair cut or coloured I also get a treatment and she always recommends the best for my hair. The coffee there is awesome too. It's just a funky little salon that is totally unpretentious, with highly skilled staff and brilliant new products. It has a little gallery with Mr Kelty products too. It's also great value for money. Leanne as the salon manager also runs a tight ship. I will be going here for many years to come!

Miss Gertrude is a funky salon that has got the mix right. It has professional staff who know how to cut and colour hair and exceptional customer service. I always enjoy the experience.

I LOVE the hair cuts I get from Miss Gertrude. I have complete faith in the hairdressers (go Ellie and Giovani!!) and always leave feeling fabulous. The hairdressers listen to what you want and deliver awesome cuts that continue to work well between visits.

I'm so glad I've found Miss Gertrude. I had a previous disastrous encounter with another salon and Eri sorted it out beautifully. It's a lovely salon, everyone's friendly and Eri's haircuts and colour are to die for - it's also in cool and trendy Fitzroy so you can make a day of it! I've had a couple of haircuts now and am happy to recommend this salon to anyone - man, woman, young and old alike.

Shannon is totally amazing ! I have thin straight hair and she just somehow makes it look good !! Miracle worker :)
