I was very much looking forward to having my hair done in an "upstyle" in this salon. It was for a very special occasion, my husband's 50th birthday party which was a formal event we were having with over 100 guests. I follow this salon on Instagram and have seen many amazing examples of their work. I had a photo of what style I wanted and after speaking with the stylist and explaining what I wanted, I walked out of the salon very, very disappointed and frustrated. My hairstyle looked nothing like the photo. The front was so unflattering and bore no resemblance to the photo nor was it a reflection of my explanation. I went home, I immediately removed all the bobby pins and styled my hair from scratch. I have photos of what I looked like when I left the salon and I am happy to forward them to you.
