The price for a mans cut and reshade has skyrocketed since last year. I normally have my beard cut as well but this time I did it myself with my new beard trimmer.$70.00 for a quick cut and re shade is out of all proportion to the service provided after 10 plus years of having my hair cut at airport 1 I am afraid I have to find a new hairdresser as even my partner is paying less than me for a cut and Color at a professional salon in Croydon !!!

I had my first wax with my new waxer and she is lovely, she was very thorough and had very good waxing skills - not painful like I have experienced at other places, but it took a very long time and the after wax care was not as good as before. The wax was too hot and it felt like it nearly burned me. I let her know it was too hot, but she continued to apply and not blow on the wax and I didn't notice her turn it down either.

All the staff were extremely lovely. However I was called twice prior to my appointment and asked to arrive early, I then waited for half an hour if not more. Which I found strange. I clearly had a junior staff member, which is completely fine, but it would have been to nice to be told this and to expect my appointment to take a bit longer. I also told the colourist I was planning to go lighter and yet I came out much darker than my current colour.

I was surprised by the cost of my haircut as I feel $75 was a lot for a trim and don’t recall even a more significant haircut costing this much. I expected to pay $60. However I thoroughly appreciated the service but that alone is not worth $75 so I’m unsure I’ll go back in the future.
