I chose what i thought was a high end salon for services because it was my first time getting a wax in over a decade and wanted a high quality care and service because I also have sensitive skin and am prone to ingrown hairs. I dont fault salons that do get services done with pit service efficiency for frequent visitors but i think I wanted a more gentle approach with more after care and a more being pampered vibe. The ladies were lovely and it wasn't their fault i think they need more help but it definitely is not the same as 10 years ago it was in a different location when the place was more like a salon for pampering instead of a beauty service stop.

Came for a Signature Facial. Not the same relaxing atmosphere it once was (been an Ella Bache customer for approx 20 years). The Therapist tried to sell me products first up. These days you do not get a face mask with the Signature Facial unless you pay for an upgrade Signature Facial. They even have advertising posters in the treatment room now. The lack of attention to detail added to my uneasiness. I sound like an old whinger, I know. Maybe times have changed. The Therapist did not put a headband on me and my hair was hanging over the pillow she leaned. Eye protection was not put on me when used the UV light. I know the light is not bright but from my point of view it's courtesy. Those details help you feel like you're in good hands and can relax. Did not massage my arms and shoulders much. Instead massaged my face. Way to close to my ears and eyes! Product went into my eyes. And the end my face was sprayed without warning which made me jump. The bed is no longer comfortable as there was no option to have knees elevated. It just wasn't the experience I was hoping for. I feel like Ella Bache facial used to make you feel pampered and relaxed. But I got the feeling I disappointed my Therapist because I didn't want to upgrade ($$$) at the start. I don't mind explaining products at the end. At the start of a facial you know what you've paid for and should not be pressured to thinking you haven't paid enough. I feel the intention has changed from making you feel looked after to wanting more money from you.

The lady was very lovely , however it was the worst waxing/tinting iv ever had. For the price that you pay I wouldn’t be going back

Had my eyebrows waxed and tinted. They are extremely sparse. Uneven. They look dirty. The tint is wrong. I wasn’t given a mirror at the end of my appointment to see if I liked them. No questions were asked other than what colour tint I wanted. For $45 I would have a done a better job at home. I’m not usually one to complain but I’m extremely unimpressed.

Had used this business for years for beauty services. One appointment after new management and will never return. The service was so unprofessional, left I tears with half of my eyebrows missing. Returned a d requested a refund, which was given. Considering the damage done a refund was irreplaceable.
