Street signage from Mary Street needs to be more visible, along with the number 70 on the sign. The only thing I could see was a giant massage sign which looked seedy. So I would recommend increasing your signage so it is brighter, bigger and more visible than the massage sign on Mary St. Hard to know the place exists from street level. Front entry waterfall is very classy. The lighting in the reception seating area needs to be a bit brighter. The white lighting in the reception detracts from a stunning and classy environment. Recommend changing it to warm white lighting and improving lighting near seating area next to reception. Men's change room, bathroom, shower area, pool, dry and wet sauna and plunge pool, toilet is clean and classy. Warm lighting is extremely relaxing. Loved that you provide deodorant, hair dryer, water and cups, togs dryer, large lockers that are clean, and decent shampoo and conditioner. Recommend some basic inexpensive body lotion (unless I didn't see it) as the sauna is very drying on the skin. Recommend that some shower stools be placed near the shower hoses so people can sit down and wash themselves properly. The shower hoses are there but at present you can only stand up and use them. From a safety perspective its safer if people have come out from a hot sauna and can sit down. Reception attendant was friendly but too brisk and could have been a bit warmer. A calmer, slower, less abrupt and more warmer welcome is more in keeping with the background music and ambience of the venue. Was disappointed that I received only one towel when I saw others inside had received two towels. I had to use my towel in the wet sauna and it became saturated. Recommend two large towels per customer or at least ask a customer if they would like two larger towels, two smaller towels, or one small, one large towel etc. Alternatively, just leave a small towel bundle for people inside to take if required. Also recommend some cotton wool unless I missed it. This will assist to remove dirt from the face and neck after the dry sauna. Recommend that the pool cover from the hot plunge pool is not dumped in the empty area near the hot plunge pool. It detracts from the classy look of the place and looked very messy. Whilst it was folded neatly it looked like a bit of an eyesore. Recommend more towel hooks near the outside of the dry sauna (near where the pool cover was located. People were placing their towels and togs on the pool cover. Recommend some sort of towel rail inside the dry sauna so people can dry their towels while they are in the sauna sitting on their small or second towel (if they receive one). Recommend that the area where the plunge pool cover was placed be replaced with some chairs and a small table to sit and relax and cool down. The only place this can be done at present is in the large swimming pool. Loved the venue, so impressed with the modern classy environment and how clean it is. Left so relaxed and my skin was glowing and I didn't even receive any skin treatments.
