The service was very professional. My massage was very gentle and beautiful, but I prefer a very deep massage where it gets into my aches and pains. I felt my foot and leg massage was very quick. Not really happy with my manicure, as my nails were chipping and also the clear polish was peeling the next day. All in all, still very happy with the service and will go back there again and give them another go.

I really enjoy the experience at Serenity. My only gripe is with the cost of treatments. They are some of the highest I would say in Cairns. Yes, the atmosphere is lovely, however for me, i am primarily concerned with the end result. From my experience, other salons who don't charge as much deliver the same final result. So, given the current economic climate, there is a chance I would opt for another salon in the future. Or, keep using Serenity, but go back less frequently. As an example, eyebrow waxes are about $28 at Serenity (?I think). There are other places in Cairns who have charged $15-18 for the same service. Given it's usually a 5-10 minute procedure, it seems a big variation. I would say the same for other waxing. Has Serenity considered some sort of loyalty/points program? I would be less likely to switch if that were the case. (These comments do not need to be publicly displayed, but rather viewed hopefully by management.)

As I have frequented this spa in the past I was so excited to finally be able to afford to come back for my favourite hot stone massage as my previous experiences were wonderful. However was sadly disappointed this time. I didn’t want to say anything as didn't want to be 'that' customer or hurt the feelings of the massage therapist. I felt like they didnt quite know what they were doing. Almost no pressure was used, the scalp massage felt like hair was being pulled out and just hurt. I felt like I parted with alot of money for a service I could have gotten from my partner for free. It's really deterred me from wanting to come back 😞

I booked a 1hr 30mins massage. The cost was $226. Not only was I dressed & in my car by 1hr 15mins mark, it wasn’t a massage it felt like an oil application. I told the girl I prefer hard pressure but being a beauty salon I kinda assumed it would be a ‘relaxing’ massage. But nothing about it was relaxing. I was super alert the whole time waiting for the massage to begin. I was asked if I had any sore spots & I said L sciatica has been tender. The area wasn’t worked on nor avoided. I get massages all the time & I thought being so expensive it would be amazing. The night markets do a way better job & it’s $50/hr This was supposed to be my de-stress before going back to work & it was nothing but disappointing. I didn’t mention I had a $200 voucher until exit. I paid the $26 difference but had I have paid $226 for a 1hr 15min oil application, I would’ve asked for a refund. The girl was lovely so I feel terrible giving this feedback but not sure if massages are a service she should be providing. I’m sure she is amazing at facials & other services. I never treat myself & I felt like so upset when I left because I had been so excited about the appointment.
