The service I paid for was for 60 minutes. I received 45 minutes of treatment only

We’re sorry for any confusion regarding the treatment duration. I really do appreciate the feedback and will endeavour to speak to our IT technician to see if we are able to rectify this, to not cause confusion to others in the future. All of our services and treatment times are on our website. Our treatments are 30, 50, or 80 minutes long. If booked online, an extra 10 minutes is automatically allocated—this is not part of the treatment but simply allows our therapists time to change the linen and reset the treatment room for the next client. We always aim to provide a seamless and relaxing experience for our clients, and we appreciate your understanding. Was a peaceful, clean environment. Treatment was relaxing, however if you are after a massage where masseuse listens to your request for focus on specific muscle groups this may not be the best place.

The service was very professional. My massage was very gentle and beautiful, but I prefer a very deep massage where it gets into my aches and pains. I felt my foot and leg massage was very quick. Not really happy with my manicure, as my nails were chipping and also the clear polish was peeling the next day. All in all, still very happy with the service and will go back there again and give them another go.

Thanks so much for taking the time to fill out this questionnaire. I really do strive for all our guests to feel that their experience is a beautiful one. In an hours full body massage, we do focus 30 minutes on the back, leaving another 30 minutes to focus on the arms, legs, and feet, which may feel like it is a shorter massage in those areas. I would love for you to contact me regarding the manicure though, as I would like to make it up to you. Since your review, we also had another client say the same thing about her clear coat so we are now using a Morgan Taylor express top coat. Would love to hear from you again :) Kendall

I really enjoy the experience at Serenity. My only gripe is with the cost of treatments. They are some of the highest I would say in Cairns. Yes, the atmosphere is lovely, however for me, i am primarily concerned with the end result. From my experience, other salons who don't charge as much deliver the same final result. So, given the current economic climate, there is a chance I would opt for another salon in the future. Or, keep using Serenity, but go back less frequently. As an example, eyebrow waxes are about $28 at Serenity (?I think). There are other places in Cairns who have charged $15-18 for the same service. Given it's usually a 5-10 minute procedure, it seems a big variation. I would say the same for other waxing. Has Serenity considered some sort of loyalty/points program? I would be less likely to switch if that were the case. (These comments do not need to be publicly displayed, but rather viewed hopefully by management.)
