I was really upset with my haircut today so much so I could barely say anything when the stylist was done to avoid crying. I brought in 3 pictures for reference (the same ones I brought in from my previous cut at Xiang, which was a great cut). I specifically said I wanted my hair to touch my shoulders and no layers. It was cut with a million layers which are going to be a nightmare to grow out and far shorter than I had asked. The stylist also put heaps of sticky gunk in my hair and made it unbearable. I literally put my hair up as soon as I walked out the door and went home to wash it (hoping for a miracle). I've tried to let it dry naturally and straighten it and they are both far from working. I am very disappointed and will not be coming back any time soon.

Kept waiting for over 45 mins for a haircut and blow dry - not a positive start, does not make you feel welcomed or valued as a customer :(

It's a common enough request - It's Friday, a woman comes in very tired from work, busy life, etc and has her son's Deb Ball that evening. But rather than get some fussing and go out feeling uplifted - she gets her hair washed and blow dried - exactly as she could have done it herself at home....disappointing. I went home and redid it - lacked volume. Not a very good salon experience :(

Disappointed I had to wait so long past my appointment time before being attended to. Then I had to wait further for my hair too be dried. What should have taken 90 mins roughly, took closer to 3 hours. Andrea

I have been having my hair cut at Xiang for over 18 months and have always been pleased with my colour and cut. I felt a little disappointed that I was not informed that my hairdresser had left and when I had my appointment upated, I had two stylists working on me due to a staff member needing to go to another salon. The colour of my hair I was totally pleased with but the cut I was very disappointed in. I needed to call the following day as I was not happy with the look and asked if I come back in for them to correct the style due to one side being cut different from the other, which led to my hair being even shorter than necessary. I feel I have fairly easy hair to cut and maintain and the fact that the style was there, not much changed needed to occur, apart from the colour. The staff at Xiang are amazing and have at all times enjoyed my experience whilst there. Everyone who visits a salon wants to feel fantastic and good about themselves following their service.

Had my hair blow dried, was costly and didn't look much better than if I had done it myself.
