$50 for a 15min haircut is far too expensive for a basic cut. The first time we visited we had a great experience, second time not so great. My daughters hair wasn’t even washed- dry cut and out the door. This is not at all what I expected and really just too expensive.

Hi, I have had mixed feelings regarding RED. At first I was very pleased. I have my hair colored and styled monthly, usually spending between $120 - $180 per visit. On top of this I have two sons, who also have haircuts each month. I love your online booking system, and this probably the only reason that I still have any work done by RED. My color was brilliant at the start, however, each time I rebooked at your Albert Park location, the previous person I had, had left, and my hair service eventually got so bad that I had to return twice to have it fixed and still wasn't happy so never returned. My sons continued to come for cuts, again, because it was easy to book online afterhours. However last time, I couldn't get through to book at Albert Park online, eventually leaving a phone message. When I received no answer, out of frustration I booked at Elwood. Then received a call from someone telling me that they had taken over Albert Park. My times ended up mucked up at Elwood, with me only managing to get one of my sons hair cut. The girl didn't once speak to me when we arrived and didn't even try to rebook my second son who had missed his cut. Forcing me to get it cut elsewhere.

Just moved to the area, tried this salon out, and was so happy I did. Warm and welcoming when you come in for the first time, beautiful environment, and the hairdresser was amazing. I am very open to ideas and don't have many specifics when I go for a haircut - I like the hairdresser to be creative and do what they think will work - he was great for this, got excited and gave me one of the best cuts I've had! He had a lot of experience, and also used some new techniques he had just learned, was very passionate and fun. I absolutely loved the experience and my hair cut.
