The therapist who did the pedicure was very professional and lovely and I have nothing negative to say about her but to think I paid $60.00 for work I do at home anyway! A soak for a few minutes, exfoliation for a few minutes, another soak for a few minutes then polish applied!!! Really!!!! My appointment was at 1.40 pm. I looked at my watch as I walked out of the rooms and it was 2.20 pm. What a waste of money. I'm appalled. What a complete rip off. That's more like an express pedi. Hate to think what you charge for the works! Left a very bitter taste for me. I won't come back to Pure Indulgence or recommend it either. Shame on you Pure Indulgence.

Lady was breathing extremely heavily throughout appointment. Right near my face at times. Not at all relaxing. Didn’t offer any advice and didn’t check eyebrow shape with me before waxing. Might be a quick service but have had much better experiences time and time again elsewhere

I have been to both places at Carindale and I had a better experience at the one near rebel sports. I also didnt have a weird reaction after the facial.

On arrival I was kept waiting while the two staff members had a personal conversation under their breaths at the counter. When they were finished I was ushered into the room. But not before. Kendall wasn't unpleasant, but isn't a warm and welcoming person. She was nice enough.gave a great massage and facial. The sheets and towels were very old looking and could do with replacement. Overall the experience was ok. I've had nicer experiences but that's ok. It was fine. Nothing special

My treatment felt rushed. It was as though they didn’t care to be treating me. They also didn’t use enough oil, particularly during the hot stones portion of the treatment. I have never had such a poor treatment as that from Talisha before. I went to relax and ease my sore back and instead left disappointed and with a headache. It was also frustrating to discover that the series I have previously purchased can only be used at the one salon, however Westfield Carindale has two seperate clinics and I was unable to book for a massage at my usual one. Having to pay for a treatment when I have several on a series was a very rude shock and if I knew beforehand I never would have gone.

I was disappointed tonight returning to a your salon after a little while. Whilst the therapist was absolutely lovely, I felt the quality of the wax received was quite possibly the worst waxing service I've ever had. I have never been asked to check my g-string wax in front of a therapist before and after doing so (rather uncomfortably,) I realised my wax was more of a bikini wax. The therapist told me she usually checks with 3 fingers. I can guarantee that I barely have one finger that has been waxed in. I didn't feel comfortable enough at the time to argue this with her and show her. Yes, I know it has been 2 months since my last wax, but I have not received a g-string wax tonight. I would have rather paid a little less and asked for a bikini and don't feel that I have received a $40 salon service. I would prefer next time to go to a salon that is a little dearer, but who are very thorough and professional in their service. They don't mind waxing a little of the inner thigh if necessary and will use tweezers to ensure a thorough service is provided for those stubborn hairs. Afterwards, they will also apply aloe vera or powder explaining how to take of the area to prevent ingrown hairs and they will also take more than 15 minutes to complete a g-string wax (!) being considerate of the client's privacy and taking care to cover one half of the body while the other half is being waxed. I would like to suggest that the salon review and discuss waxing expectations with all personnel in order that clients can receive consistent waxing each time they come in. In the time that I have been to your salon, each therapist seems to have a different way of going about the waxing. I have heard a few negative reviews from friends regarding Pure indulgence but have never had as poor a service as I had tonight. I don't like to complain at services or confront people (sorry I couldn't complain more at the time) but I do hope that in writing a review, you are able to improve PRACTICE at the salon and ensure that all staff take care to ensure the client receives an amazing service that they will happily return to.
