The Pivot Point Academy Salon is a main-stay of Lonsdale street culture. Its doors have been open for business for 15 years and many of the clientele have been coming into the city to our salon for almost as long. Buoyed by the vibrant atmosphere, it is here that students put into practice their studies under close supervision of their mentors.

I do not like making complaints but I was very disappointed after my last visit when I had my regrowth done. My grey hairs were not covered completely, I realise that the salon was very busy at the time as a school group was brought into the salon, and given a hair shampoo and a blow-wave. I felt that I was then put to the end of the queue even though my hair was nearly finished. As is normally done, when my hair appointment was completed, I was not checked by an educator. I am normally very pleased with the service offered to me and that is why I travel so far to have my hair done but it has taken me a while to make another appointment which I have just done.
