Felt rushed, didn't receive the image reference that I asked for; after showing a couple of different options, then said that I only really wear my hair straight, just for the stylist to give me a dated wave, which I did not like. I will say I could have been more verbal. I do feel as though the price was very high for receiving an okay service, definitely not luxury. I do feel like going to a different salon to get the results that I originally intended.

My experience here was my first and my last! - this was one of the worst blow drys I have ever had. I explained that I have a lot of hair and it is fine - so I asked for smaller sections with plenty of body at the roots, as I needed it to last me for quite a few days - the female who did the blow dry did not listen to a word that I said and just proceeded to go about her business the way that she does things. The sad thing for me as a hair enthusiast is that the younger generation of stylists don't have a clue/or are interested in the tried and true way to handle fine hair - it is a dying art and once the more mature stylists are all retired/gone, I fear it will be lost forever. Sad but true. $75 for the 'privilege' and I finished up having to do it myself two days later (what a waste of $75) - wish I had done it myself in the first place, as it looked better! (Who knew?!)

Usually the service is very good but today the salon was extremely busy and I felt they had booked too many people in but not enough staff to deal with clients in a timely manner. I was left waiting for nearly 20 mins after the timer had gone off. The girl looking after my hair had to leave a client mid way through colouring to look after me which wasn't fair to the other client. She couldn't get someone to wash my hair so did it herself. I am thankful for that as I think I would have been there for a lot longer.

Almost every appointment now for the past couple of years, the price has gone up every visit. I get that prices need to increase, but some sort of communication to clients explaining a price increase (like other services I have) might be helpful. My haircut yesterday cost $148. A great haircut as usual from Joe (thank you!) but if I’m paying that much now, it shouldn’t be too much to expect a much improved hair wash experience. Yesterday, the initial shampoo wasn’t fully rinsed out, the second ‘shampoo’ was really just a bit more water added on, and the conditioner / head massage lasted no more than 60 seconds. So that’s disappointing for $148.
