I like the look of my hair but the visit to the salon took a long time

Whilst i always feel great after having my hair done there - and it's always usually by the older staff or staff that has been there for a while - i have 2 gripes about the person that washes hair & it's almost always someone new to staff - when having hair washed i am sick of being soaked right through down my back. I'm only having my hair washed, not a bloody bath!! Make sure the basin is positioned at a level that will keep the water from flowing down the persons back - it's not rocket science to make the client comfortable and secondly, my head doesn't need to be scrubbed to within an inch of it's life - it's a scalp, you're not trying to scrape mould off it...you're just washing it - be gentle. I swear i'm going to need a neck brace after the last visit.

The salon needs to be finished. There are marks on the walls & holes in the walls & it has been like that for some time.

I called up the service to enquire if they cut curly hair - in particularly if they are knowledgeable about the 'Curly Girl method' and I was told they were. The hair dresser I had cut my hair neatly with good layers - for straight hair, but had no idea what the 'curly girl method' even was. Now, my curls are extremely undefined and my hair looks terrible. I am not impressed with my hair cut at all. On a good note, the facility was clean and professional and the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who has straight hair.

$160.00 for roots to be touched up is overpriced. Online booking is confusing.

As a long time client I feel my continued support for Elie's is taken for granted when other clients are attended to before me when I always make my appointments well in advance and am usually easy to get on with- today I have to comment that I was very disappointed that I was asked to wait after someone else (who come in after me) sat down for a trim after a colour - as l was lead to my seat also for a trim after a long wash after my colour . I did have the first appointment of the day.
