Utopia Hair & Makeup was established in November 2019 and has since merged with its sister-salon; Touch of Utopia, that used to be in the city centre.


All hair and makeup services are offered in our salon, and we welcome men, women, and your little cherubs! 

We do hair style-cutting, extensions, chemical hair straightening, keratin hair smoothing, hair colouring, and foiling. Aside from those hair services, we provide hairstyling and makeup with special packages for weddings and formal occasions, which are administered by 12 of our finest staff members. 

To ensure the best quality of services, our professional hairstylists and makeup artists deliver your services with the use of the best quality products with brands like Nak, Olaplex, Delorenzo and Goldwell.

I can honestly say, today was the best experience I have had at a hairdresser in the 8 years I have been in Townsville. The girls here are all about providing the best possible outcome for healthy hair, given the fact my hair was very damaged. The repair and treatments provided today have started my hair back on the road to looking healthy and full recovery. I have already booked my next appointment. Couldnt recommend Utopia highly enough.

Even though I arrived early for my appointment. I was greeted and seated quickly. Consulted about what I wanted doing and my needs were mett best haircut I have had for a while and will return next time.

My first experience at Touch Of Utopia was lovely, I will be returning. The sweet apprentice made me a tea and washed me hair. Kate was my stylist, she was wonderful and worked magic on my hair, I left feeling great with my hair exactly how I wanted. big thank you :)
