Utopia Hair & Makeup was established in November 2019 and has since merged with its sister-salon; Touch of Utopia, that used to be in the city centre.
All hair and makeup services are offered in our salon, and we welcome men, women, and your little cherubs!
We do hair style-cutting, extensions, chemical hair straightening, keratin hair smoothing, hair colouring, and foiling. Aside from those hair services, we provide hairstyling and makeup with special packages for weddings and formal occasions, which are administered by 12 of our finest staff members.
To ensure the best quality of services, our professional hairstylists and makeup artists deliver your services with the use of the best quality products with brands like Nak, Olaplex, Delorenzo and Goldwell.

Hi, I had my hair cut/ coloured on Saturday and while I am normally thrilled with the experience and colour, unfortunately this visit has not been my best experience. The hairdresser (unsure of her name sorry as she didn’t introduce herself) was difficult to understand when discussing colour options etc. As I am not a professional the terminology (ie saying that I am a level 5(???)) was difficult to understand and may have led to some confusion on my part. Three days on and I am finding my roots (at the base are quite a bright/brassy red) while the rest of my hair is a very dark brown. I am also noticing the cut was not what I asked for and is quite uneven. I wasn’t going to say anything (because normally everyone and the service is fantastic), but I thought I would just provide some feedback and request to not see that particular hairdresser again- I have booked for February.
