The service I booked in for was removal of shellac polish on my fingernails. The price for this is not included in the price list on the website or in the brochure so I had asked for the price when I made the booking. Someone was supposed to contact me back to advise me of the price. On the day of the service, I still had not heard from anyone but continued with the booking anyway as I assumed that it would cost around $20 (as this is what most other places seem to charge for shellac removal). I was shocked to find out after the service when I went to pay that this cost me $50! The full manicure I had with shellac polish at another place cost me $70, which involved using more product and time than just shellac removal. I was told that this price is due to staff time spent on this service but this price is almost double what other places charge for the same thing (and same amount of time). Even though the manager only charged me $35 after I explained the situation, I was told $50 was the normal price Aquarius charges. I am disappointed as I have used Aquarius services previously and have been happy with them...until now. I will not be recommending Aquarius to others for shellac removal (even though I was happy with the quality of service provided by Melinda on the day) and I certainly would not be going back for this service in the future. I would recommend that Aquarius advertise the price of this service in the brochure or on the website so that other people can be fully informed when making decisions to book there.
