I Arrived out the front by Uber 15 min ahead of appointment and found the entrance a little confusing - you could really use some lovely evocative signage to lure me off the street in to the Day Spa, make it clear where to go for a 5 star pampering experience - The water wall on entrance and the smiling staff are very pleasant and provide a good expectation of what is to come However Spa looks tired and smells like damp its in need of refreshing and maintenance. The greeting was excellent the staff informed and professional the products and service offered, explained and relatable. I had booked a massage and introduced to my practitioner she was lovely and the massage was excellent, however the rooms themselves need to be freshened up and smell nicer, perhaps the use of candles or fragrant oils will disguise the ambient smell of sweaty gym and damp water. Also the towels felt cheap thin and scratchy more at home in a street vendor thai massage not the fluffy luxury towel experience i would expect at a "CBD day spa" you need to spend a little money here. I also booked and received laser hair removal. I was escorted to the Laser area. I was treated on my lip and a small dark spot on my head treated the laser tech was lovely informed and very helpful the environment was adequate professional and clean, a very pleasant encounter. Some areas could use a paint or freshen up here, again you can smell mould and damp in that area not the sensory experience i expect from a "day spa" experience. I would however come back to see your laser team as they were well trained just give me a freshened up environment and i will feel excited about bringing my 2 daughters and friends for a birthday treat - understand my spend this year since jan 1 would be around 25,000 plus on day spa experiences for my daughters and myself and your friends, it is where we like to celebrate special ocassions. My late reply to this survey is due to being on a cruise with the girls and friends and hosting marquees at the Melbourne cup carnival so i think i would be your target demographic ... We also used the swimming pool steam room and sauna whilst sparse and initially unappealing it proved adequate for purpose, but the female bathroom area is appalling and needs a complete refurb... to advertise that the plunge pool as the jewel in the crown of the experience and elude to the fact they are available and then explain on arrival they are out of service is juts plain dishonest.... it is clear they have been this way for some time, and you have a "mechanical problem" or more probably water leakage problems that need fixing immediately. All in all you have a great concept and unique offering in a good location and should be earning you heaps money, do not cheapen out on the delivery, the real profit is in repeat business keeping those laser machines booked and pools utilised and i struggle to see how this would happen given the bathrooms shower areas are more like a tired run down public Baths or B grade pool area a 3 star delivery because of maintenance and paint and sensory smells - on what should be a 5 star higher end retreat pamper e xperience that keeps ladies coming back again and again.
