I have attended this salon a few times before and always been pleased but this visit was SO rushed. It was a bit stressful and not enjoyable at all because she did my treatment so fast. I literally had to ask her to just slow down after she hurt me with the tweezers.

I arrived early to my lash lift appointment at Elle Bache Charlestown. The front desk service was lovely, and I’m ok with the result of my lash lift (not the best or worst I’ve had). They were running 15 mins late (which is understandable and not what I’m not happy with) but they chose to end my appointment 15 mins early as a result. I didn’t see another customer whilst I was there, so I’m not sure why my appointment got shortened. Im annoyed that my 60min appointment got reduced to 45mins because of their schedule. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time this has happened to my appoints but it will be the last. They have also raised their prices, which I understand is not the franchise’s decision. I am disappointed with the service and will chose another salon next time. There are many others that offer the same service for much less.

I am extremely unhappy and disappointed with my experience as I had a Brazilian wax and a fair bit of the hair was still left behind, I also had a lash tint which looked like it was fine in the mirror before I left but after a shower last night it appears that it wasn’t done right and now it doesn’t even look like I had a lash tint. Very unhappy customer after being a customer of at least 8 years

I love coming to you guys for my brow wax and lash tint , I get to relax and also get a hand massage while I’m there .... it always smells so nice ladies are lovely and it’s just a very welcome and happy place .... don’t get me wrong it was still good today but it wasn’t your normal standard the girl that serviced me did a good job , but she smelt like garlic and there was no hand massage I which is fine but I feel like she was just sitting there watching me it felt a little weird ... at no point was it bad service just not the level you normally deliver... I always recommend and know a few friends that go to you because of the awesome service and that’s why i come .. I’m not a girly girl I can get them waxed anywhere it’s the service the smells and the experience I come for ... Thank you

I am a customer of Charlestown. I made an appointment with a gift voucher for a massage. I enquired about waxing at the same time . Was given a reason as why I couldn’t have the waxing done . Made sense to me. This was by the person who took my call . I arrived on time and went through to my room at 2pm . Changed and was waiting immediately. I waited for up to 10/12 minutes for the attendant to come back in. So by that time was approx 215. Massage commenced and didn’t have a problem with the product . Except the reason I was told I couldn’t get waxing done was A/ if I had oil or product the wax wouldn’t work or B/ if I had waxing done : my face would become irritated. All I had put on my face was a cold clothe on my eyes while I was having the front part of my body done . So was a little confused as to why I couldn’t have waxing done . When my massage was finished and the attendant had put away her products and went and got me a glass of water and explained I could get dressed . So I checked my watch … 3.05 pm . So I booked an hour long massage and I got approx a 40/42 min one . Not one to complain ever and I always have a great experience but not this time . I didn’t get my value for money . I spent $290 on products when I left . I am happy for someone to call me as I wasn’t satisfied with my experience. Thanks Fiona

The lady who did my treatment was very kind and nice to talk to however all I could smell the entire treatment was cigarette anytime her hands were near my nose which was most of the treatment. She also cut my eyelid with the tweezers which caused it to bleed and now I have a red scratch there. During the treatment the radio was on. Usually when I go for any treatment there would be calming music playing. I wouldn’t book in again for a treatment at this branch based off this experience as it was not relaxing at all.
