I have always loved my visits to Aquarius and the value of the casual day pass is unrivalled however on my recent visit, the extreme focus on silence or being quiet has taken away the enjoyment of a girls day at Aquarius. This is a disappointment considering the amount of Hen's parties that are booked at that facility. There was one very precious person there on the Saturday I was there with my friends as well as a hens party, the manager spent the whole time making one person happy by enforcing the quiet levels. All of us were there and spending money and I think that it would be unlikely that anyone would recommend having any sort of girls function there again. The staff were lovely but I think their focus was not in the right direction on that day.

Although I feel everything is very satisfactory however, when I was faced down on the massage table, I could see that the framework under the massage table needs to be cleaned. There appears to be either dirt or rust to head to the base. Also in the Zen room the air conditioning vent has peeling paint And the speaker next to it is either painted brown or is dirty. My other concern is that other patrons still do not sit on towels in the sauna or shower before they come in the sauna. I have noticed this on a number of occasions. As I was brought up and know the etiquette for Saunas , I know that you must shower before coming in and where I come from it is illegal to wear swimsuits into the sauna, particularly after being in a chlorinated pool as chlorine vaporisers with heat and it becomes toxic. This has concern me a lot I will continue using the bathhouse as often as I come to visit Brisbane. Thank you. Bye for now Riitta Mellish

Overall a really wonderful experience. My only suggestion is when a person is lying supine for an extended period they are offered lower back support pillow or heat pack. My back got really sore towards the end of my treatment.

Professional advice is not applicable, as I just used the pool( excellent temperature) and sauna. Would just ask that you check I am on your mailing list, as I do not ever receive emails about deals etc Very good experience and facilities in excellent condition. Thanks

I love that there’s a Korean style spa in Brisbane. The staff are always really nice. Recently they changed the rules to no nudity in the mens area which is a shame. Since then the mens pools are becoming less clean with sand in the bottom from everyone wearing shorts, and it was nice to have a place where nudity is accepted when it’s so normal in other cultures in the world. There’s some wear and tear in the venue like the timers in the sauna missing, and bathers dryer/spinner not working, but overall it’s great value for money.

I had the most incredible day. The two beautiful staff members who met me upon arrival were so lovely and helpful and a credit to the business. They looked after me the entire visit. My massage therapist was incredible. The facilities were so clean and everything was impeccable. Thank you for making my day.
