I find the staff good, however, I would appreciate them to have more proactive approach and consultation. The staff does not tend to provide advice or direction re the type of cut and colour they believe could be best suited. Instead they are rather passive and do whatever we ask, which is good if we do know what we want. I often don't and when I want to change, I would like to trust the advice and opinion of an expert. I feel that expertise is missing in the salon. For australian standards, the salon is still well above average, but for international standards it is quite below. I often used overseas (mainly european) hairdressers and find them more directive, encouraging me to try new, innovative things which usually end up with a great result. Often in Europe hairdresser have two types of training: - hardressing (learn how to be a hardresser, cut, colour...) - stylist (learn what type of cut would suit particular complexion or face shapes, taking into account the colour of the eyes...) This second type of training is for more advanced hairdresser and allow them to provide the expert advice we expect. Please don't take it as a negative comment, because it is not. I am happy with the salon and have been a regular customer for a few years. Kind regards,
