It was difficult to find an oasis of calm. I had been saving this birthday gift for a special treat and finally booked - just seems I chose the wrong day. The salon was it’s usual busy Saturday but there was a 5y/o being entertained loudly nearby - it felt like I was in a kindergarten. Between a shrieking 5y/o, the constant hairdryers, the business of the basins, and my poor lady being interrupted several times by other stylists asking if she could do a wash / etc next, it was really difficult to relax. The treatment itself was lovely (magic hands!) but I left more tense than I arrived, and with a headache to boot. Please consider moving hair treatments more than 30mins to the spa section during busy days, especially if there are young children around.
