Simply Shine was established in April 2004 and our co-owners are Raeleen McGarry and Leasa Turner. The Parisian atmosphere aspired to by the owners is evident when you walk up the wooden steps into the elegant surrounds of their hair and beauty salon.
Rae and Leasa have both been hairdressing for over 30 years, so between them there is a vast pool of experience. Along with their knowledge, they both wanted to bring a cosmopolitan edge to regional Tamworth and so they decided in their mission statement: “Be Bright, Excel, Be Brilliant, Glow”. Hence, our name ‘Simply Shine’.
Testimony to our success lies in the winning of the Tamworth Quality Business awards three times over the last decade, confirming our credibility and longevity. We have a loyal following with clients returning to the salon for the luxury experience. We believe in applying your core set of values to your professional world, and success will follow.”
Our point of difference to other salons is our involvement with La Biosthetique, a high end and luxurious French hair, skincare and makeup brand. We love the company’s integrity and are happy with the relationship we have forged with them over 10 years. In addition to their premium products our team are also offered in salon exclusive development and education sessions 5 times annually from internationally recognised Educators.
Our team of Senior Stylists, a Salon Assistant and Receptionist have a wonderful synergy. It’s all about looking good and feeling good, for our team and our clients. We love to make our clients feel special from the moment they walk in. Beginning with a welcoming Visarome massage and welcome tea, to our silky gowns; you know you are in the hands of Hair Experts.
We pride ourselves on building a strong relationship with our clients; warm and friendly with country spirited service, whilst offering a high end experience. We are just so passionate about what we do and consistency is key to our success.
We are proud participators of “Colour With Care”, helping raise funds for the global non-for-profit organisation Medecins Sans Frontieres, Doctor with Barriers. This means every time you have a colour with our Salon you are changing peoples lives.
La Biosthetique, our preferred products used in the salon and recommended for homecare strictly forbids animal testing for any of their products.

Unfortunately today was my last visit to Simply Shine as we are moving out of town. Since visiting Simply Shine I have received the best service, advice and care. I have always been impressed with the professionalism of the whole team, impressed by the way they all work so well together, it is obviously a very happy workplace. I would like to make particular mention of Casey. Casey has looked after me on most of my visits. What a lovely young lady. Casey knows her trade very well, is a delight to speak to and has a wonderful nature which is expressed in her customer service. Iam sad to be leaving the team at Simply Shine.
