Thank you for letting us know Carly. Whilst we don't like to ever disappoint anyone, we are glad to hear you have found somewhere suited to your budget. We had kept our prices as low as possible for as long as possible. Being in a shopping centre, our over heads are much high than other salons. Staff wages have just risen for the 6th time in 2 years, insurance has skyrocketed, salon rent jumps up every year and on top of that the massive inflation of salon consumables meant that we had to put our prices up just to ensure we are able to keep our doors open as we have such a large and wonderful community and we want to keep bringing our services to them for a long time yet. With the large number of no-shows and late cancellations, we had to amp up our policy in regards to our system automatically asking to hold card details to secure a booking. In saying this, we are very reasonable and can override a cancellation fee being charged - we just ask for as much notice as possible but also understand that sometimes this can't be helped so we have always been here to chat and listen as needed. It is disappointing that we didn't have the chance to speak to you about this but we do wish you all the best. Happy 2024!
