Hi, My hair was a faded red with grown out natural roots when I came into the salon. . I asked for my hair to be dyed to my natural brown colour. At no point was I told that this wouldn’t be achievable. After one round of dying, the colour had come out dark purple and patchy. When I asked why it was purple- I was told that it was ‘because of the red colour’ and ‘what did I want to do about it’. The only option I was given was to dye it darker which I had to no choice but to agree to. The end result colour was black - nothing close to my natural hair colour. I was then told that in the future I could get balayage to make it lighter. Now I have permanently black hair and will have to spend a lot of money to fix it. I paid $350 for a hair colour that I did not want at all. I would like to request at the very least a partial refund as the end result was not what I asked for in the slightest.
