After the customer behind me paid and left, the beauty therapist at the register walked off without acknowledging me while a hair dresser who was looking after her customer served him next until it was finally my turn to say I had arrived for my appointment. I did the $99 colour and blow dry package and the hair dresser was tugging my hair while I was about to sit back at the hair basin and I felt rough hair pulling during the hair wash too. The package stated ‘hair straighten or curls’ and I was not offered either- just blow dry and while I could of said something the all over colour of my hair was what I wanted, and I just let it slide about the extra service included in the package because I just wanted to leave the salon since the overall environment felt hostile to me.

Really long wait time, hairdresser was running over half an hour late. Salon had some nice touches but not the cleanest.

big orange patch on the back of my head. nearly no foils on the front of my hair. nothing like the picture I showed them. Hair dresser put thicker foils in the back and really thin foils through the front. WHO DOES THAT? it looks weird. Cost me nearly $200,no haircut or blowdry included. Will not return ever again.

I would like to know a little more about the charity I was charged for : ' As we are a Sustainable Salon, there will be a $2 Green Fee added to your bill. This is to ensure we can help provide for our future generations and charities like OzHarvest, to feed those in need' and if this is something you are allowed to do without a customers consent. I don't actually see anywhere own my receipt that it went to a charity, I was just charged the extra amount. I won't be able to claim it on taxes as a donation as it went straight in with the service. My daughter was also only in her appointment for 5 mins. Usually she leaves with a nice little braid or something special done to her hair at other salons to make the experience more enjoyable.
