Savoy Day Spa is the premier location to relax and unwind in the heart of Hobart’s CBD.



  • Guests who have not confirmed an appointment with our massage or spa therapists can still enjoy the luxurious spa area by way of purchasing a casual Spa pass.

  • Our spa has a heated  pool, two large spa tubs, an over-sized traditional stone Swedish sauna room and therapeutic steam room.

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am-8.00pm  Saturday 9.00am-6pm and Sunday 10.00am – 5.00pm

  • The Spa area is also available to be booked out for private functions, usually outside of trading hours.

  • A casual spa pass is available for $35.00 per person.

  • Unless stated in your package cost the spa area can be combined with a treatment for an additional $25.00 per person.

The massage itself was great, but the atmosphere was a bit ruined by the staff having conversations right outside my massage room about shift changes. Not happy about the staff lockers being right there.

Only 2 spas and only 1 in working order.Only 1 waterfall working in pool the other is not working.This place needs money spent on ensuring all services are in working condition. 2 spas are not enough and 1 working spa is certainly not sufficient. Savoy Baths was once a lovely place to come (15-20 years ago)but unfortunately is not as good as it once was.

When I arrived at the Day Spa I was excited as my husband had organised this special experience for me. There were two female staff members just sitting behind the counter. They weren't rude but I wouldn't say they were friendly or welcoming. I was given a towel, slippers and gown. I went into the change room to change and use the toilet. There were only two toilets and one was extremely dirty where a person had used and not cleaned, flushed or used the toilet brush. It was so disgusting. As I was leaving the change room I noticed a customer had gone to use that toilet, saw the state and began to clean it! I then went into the pool area. One of the two spas had a hand written sign that said 32 degrees. It was freezing. I told a staff member and she said she would pass it on. I went into the other spa and was warned by another lady in the spa to watch around the wall of the spa as there was all scum along the walls. I then also noticed that there was dirty scum floating on the water too - gross! I left to go and have my treatment and I heard another lady complaining about the spa temperature, that it was freezing and the employee told her quite bluntly that there was nothing she could do about it as the temperature gauge wasn't working! As you can imagine the customer was not impressed! Although my pool/baths experience was not very good my treatment was lovely. Tiffany was fantastic and I had the most lovely scrub, massage and facial.
