The Pivot Point Academy Salon is a main-stay of Lonsdale street culture. Its doors have been open for business for 15 years and many of the clientele have been coming into the city to our salon  for almost as long. Buoyed by the vibrant atmosphere, it is here that students put into practice their studies under close supervision of their mentors.

The salon has 30 workstations, clean modern décor, and a high end range of La Biosthetique products. The guidance of our experiences staff ensures that clients are rewarded with the highest level of customer service and a delightful experience.

I came in for a half head of foils (highlights and lowlights) and had my hair styled after. The service took much les time than expected (no longer than with an experienced hairdresser) and the result was fantastic. Exactly as I wanted.

I found Pivot Point Academy Salon online. It was a few months until I actually got there but I'm glad I did. I took a few photo to show what I wanted but was advise that my hair wasn't suitable for that style and decided on a blunt cut to get rid on my layers & cut a couple of inches off because it was dry. I was happy with the honest advise I was given. It took a couple of hours but I had a free afternoon so that was fine. I got my hair blow dried and curled with the flat irons. The hair dresser that cut my hair had to leave and then I had some one different to blow dry it and then another hair dresser to curl it. I didn't mind as they all did great jobs. I will definitely be returning as for the price and the return train trip its is way cheaper then any local hairdresser. Over all a pleasant experience :)

Had such a great experience at Pivot Point yesterday. Everyone was really nice and my haircut was amazing! My hairdresser spent all the time making sure my hair was perfect and I had a great chat with them. I will definitely return! Thanks for making me feel so welcomed :)

I have been there twice and i really appreciated the quality of service received. The students are great in their job as well as the teachers and also look at our comfort by providing us with tea and coffee. The salon service provides value for money and i would definitely go there again and recommended one of my friends too.

I have been attending Pivot Point for a number of years, and I am always Happy with the end finish. I am a mature woman that still likes modern styles, Pivot Point Staff always give good advice to their students, I like to give them a challenge. changing colour and styles regularly
