It started out well, once I was in the consult room for my skin coaching session the beautician sat behind me and asked me questions, she didn’t look at my skin and I couldn’t see her while she was talking. I had booked for microdermabrasion and serums and instead she recommended a face mask. I was disappointed as I wanted to try micro but trusted the beautician. I was then taken to a room, where a mask was applied. She told me the mask was $199 and I agreed. Once she applied the mask she said “I’ll be back in half an hour” - I was left lying at the ceiling for 30 minutes. When she returned she wiped the mask off. My skin felt fine but not radically different at all. When I got to the counter she’d added some products to my bill, totalling $360. I had to explain I wouldn’t be purchasing the additional products. When asked to pay the receptionist said “that’s $210” I said I’d been told it was $199 and she said sorry, the beautician didn’t realise there was a price rise. I had a business meeting straight after and I still had green residue left on my face. For $210 I would absolutely not recommend this salon, I left feeling very dejected.

I booked the ultimate romantic escape for two valued at 1018$ and was really disappointed! The first half of my experience was great my hot stone massage was really really nice followed by an amazing facial and body scrub but everything after that was a downhill from there! To rinse off the body scrub we were supposed to have an aroma therapy tub but the experience was terrible the tub is basically in a regular small bathroom that feels really dirty and the fan was so caked in dust that heaps fell in my tub while I was in there! Mentioned it on my way out but was not offered any compensation even tho I clearly paid for that experience. This was followed by what they call a high tea experience and was nothing close to romantic! On the website they mention a fruit platter and what I got was staked plates in front of me with zero fresh fruit and a bunch of sugary desserts, very disappointing to say the least and not the least bit or romance we ate literally inside the waiting area. Upon arrival I was given a bunch of forms to fill out which basically wasted my time as I wrote in how I wanted my massage and what kind of tea I would like to drink and yet none of the forms where even followed ! Definitely will not be returning.

The salon was well presented. I was greeted politely but then told that my beautician was running late with no apology and I was asked if I would like to pay upfront. The beautician didn’t introduce herself or apologise for being late. I explained that I had never had the particular treatment done before, yet this still didn’t prompt the beautician to go out of her way to explain the procedure to me any further. I have been going to Le Beau for many years and I used to always receive wonderful customer service. However during my last few visits I don’t feel like anyone has gone out of their way to make me feel valued anymore. The staff I have dealt with seem like they are just trying to get through their shift. I can no longer justify the prices for that kind of service. I will be looking for a new day spa.

I was extremely disapointed with my latest visit. I arrived 5 mins early, as requested, given tea which was all nice. After 20 minutes I went to the reception where I was told my therapist was running late but would be there soon. Parts of the treatment/experience could not be done due to lack of time. This treatment included a 20 minute back massage and 50 minute facial for $231. I do not believe this is value for money at all.
